Course Description:

This is a vocational programme designed to equip students with life and industry skills which will help students when they leave school. Students will complete the core standards in class and, may be offered a Gateway work experience placement if this was not done in Year 12. Please be aware that the content of the course will be customised according to the needs of the cohort. Work placement will vary depending on student’s interests and the availability of places. Gateway provides opportunities in a range of fields including, but not limited to: Building, Early Childhood Education, Electrical, Air NZ Maintenance, Air NZ Front of House, Broadcasting and Journalism, Equine, Culinary.
