NCEA Level 3 requires skills and knowledge from studying NCEA Level 2 in this subject. Students who have only 8 to 12 credits in Level 2 Physical Education should consult with the Faculty Head about their likelihood of successful progress. Students will need to be academically and physically competent to succeed.Course Description:
This course will involve the development, recording and analysis of a personal exercise programme incorporating appropriate training techniques. It will develop management and interpersonal skills through practical experience. It will introduce elementary sociological and psychological concepts within sports participation. There will be a combination of theory and practical assessments.Achievement Standards:
