Background:

Successful completion of Year 10 Dance, or previous dance experience with permission from the Faculty Head.

Course Description:

The Dance NCEA Level 2 course develops skills, control and confidence, which are valuable to students in all their studies and in whatever careers they choose to follow. Students will continue to develop different techniques and explore many choreography skills. There will be an evening of dance where performance works will be showcased. Several optional theatre trips will be organised throughout the year. Students will be required to see at least one live performance as preparation for the external examination.
