Chemistry NCEA Level 2

This subject leads to an approved UE course of study. Standards marked (N) may be used towards meeting the Level 1 Numeracy requirements.

Chemistry NCEA Level 2 requires skills and knowledge from studying Science NCEA Level 1 or IGCSE Chemistry. Students need to have passed the L1 Acids and Bases standard (AS90944) as well as the internal assessment (AS90935) or gained a D or better at IGCSE Chemistry. If not they must consult with the Faculty Head about their likelihood of success in the Level 2 Chemistry course.
