Background:

Chemistry NCEA Level 2 requires skills and knowledge from Science NCEA Level 1. Students will have gained over 12 credits in the Science NCEA Level 1 course including the achievement standard “Aspects of Acids and Bases” or else they will need to consult with the Faculty Head about their likelihood of success.
