The course involves practical examination of large New Zealand organisations through a field trip and guest speakers. This involves students investigating and analysing business functions including marketing, human resources, operations management, business structure and the factors that influence how businesses operate. Students will gain a broad appreciation for many functions of a business’s operations from experiencing their own business activity and learning of related theory.Achievement Standards:
