Recommended Background:

Completion of Computer Programming IGCSE with Grade D or better. Students who do not meet this standard and students who have not studied IGCSE Computer Programming may apply to the Faculty Head / Head of Department (Mr S Phillips) or Year 12 Dean, Mrs Thompson, if they want to undertake this course.

Course Description:

This course follows on from Year 11 IGCSE Computer Programming. Students will learn fundamentals of Computer Science Theory including knowledge of a high level programming language and how to apply it to solve relevant problems. This language will be Visual Basic.
