Recommended Background:

The study of foreign languages is a sequential process that requires skills and knowledge from previous study. A result above the median in the end of Year 10 Japanese examination (or equivalent) is recommended to be accepted for the course. Students, who do not meet this requirement, must apply to the Languages Head of Faculty.

Course Description:

The course consists of three papers covering: reading, speaking and writing. Listening is not tested formally. The content of the course is set in the context of everyday life and activities. Topics include:
