Course Description:

The Accounting IGCSE course is aimed at the more able Year 11 student. The course is intended to develop an understanding of the principles, policies, procedures and terminology. It will help a student develop skills of numeracy, literacy, communication, enquiry, presentation and interpretation. The extended CIE curriculum is studied and assessment is by two external examinations which test both theory and practical applications. Accounting IGCSE provides the basics for the study of Accounting at AS and A Level.
